Hay free of pesticides and herbicides

We farm around 10 acres of hay. Our goal is to restore the land and replace a lot of organic material and rebuild the microbials in the soil. We understand some choose conventional farming and why they do. We simply have convictions to work towards soil preservation and believe it is part of our stewardship to build the land back as naturally as possible which will in turn promote the health of the produce and animals we are raising.

We planted organic graze and chop seed (Festulolium, Alfalfa, Lipalma Tall Fescue, Perennial Ryegrass, Annual Ryegrass, Red Clover, Diceros Orchardgrass).

While we observe and operate organic practices we have chosen not to be "certified."

All of our animals give a solid FOUR HOOVES UP! They absolutely love it!

In the past we have grown Teff and also used winter cover crops, such as Rye, to feed the ground and future crops.
